The Texas A&M football team closed out the week's workouts Thursday with a controlled scrimmage in front of 200 onlookers at Kyle Field.
Aggie head coach R.C. Slocum said the offense had made excellent strides since last week's scrimmage.
"I thought the offense was much sharper today," Slocum said. "We hadn't been in pads for very long the last time we scrimmaged and you could really see the offense's progress."
Today's practice was the final workout of the week. Slocum said the Aggies will practice Monday, Tuesday and Thursday next week and have the annual Maroon and White Game on Saturday at Kyle Field.
