The Texas A&M football team continued its spring drills with a two hour workout in full pads Wednesday at the grass practice fields.
The workout ended with a spirited "First and 10" drill where the offense's goal was to gain four or more yards on first down. If the offense compiled more, then the offense would win the play, but failure to gain four yards resulted in the Wrecking Crew defense winning the play.
"It was all even on that last play," A&M coach R.C. Slocum said. "The offense got more than the four yards so they won, if it was less the defense would have won."
The offense then headed for the locker room while the Wrecking Crew stayed on the field for a few extra repetitions.
Among those missing the workout was linebacker Jesse Hunnicutt who has a bruised knee, and offensive lineman Andre Brooks who has torn meniscus and will have a knee scope. Running back Derrick Farmer wore a cast on his left hand during the second half practice.
The Aggies have one practice remaining for Thursday before ending spring drills on Friday with a scrimmage
