The Texas A&M football team practiced for an hour and a half in shorts and helmets on the grass practice fields on Thursday.
It was the final practice session of the 2002 spring drills, and the Aggies will close out the spring with a full-contact scrimmage on Kyle Field on Friday.
After Thursday's workout, A&M head coach R.C. Slocum said the Aggies have made good progress during the spring.
"I think we've gotten a lot of good work in this spring," Slocum said. "The players have worked hard and had good intensity. I think we've made excellent strides, especially on offense. We'll finish up (spring drills) with a scrimmage on Friday."
