A group of former and current Texas A&M volleyball players teamed together to capture the women's AA national title at the 2002 USA Adult Volleyball Championships, hosted by USA Volleyball last weekend in Dallas.

Setter Jenna Moscovic, who capped her A&M career by being named first-team All-American last season, was named the MVP in the women's AA division. In addition, former A&M outside hitter Erin Lechler and middle blocker Melissa Munsch, who will be a sophomore for the Aggies this season, were named to the all-tournament team.

Other Aggies who were members of the national championship team were junior middle blocker Tara Pulaski and former outside hitters Brandi Mount and Summer Strickland, as well as Beth Weynand, an academic All-American as a senior who was playing the libero position for the first time in her playing career.

There were a total of 24 teams competing in the women's AA division, the largest division in this year's championships.
