The Texas A&M football team drilled for two hours in full pads Monday evening at the grass practice fields in preparation for the 2002 season lid-lifter against Louisiana-Lafayette on Aug. 31.
"It's getting to be the 'dog days' of two-a-days, but I thought we did a good job of pushing through it,"A&M head coach R.C. Slocum said. "They've got a lot of pulls and they're tired, but it's something you've got to push through. I thought they did a good job of doing that and got some good work in today."
The Aggies will return to the practice field on Tuesday afternoon for a single workout.
