The No. 23-ranked Texas A&M football team held its second to last workout Thursday before game-week preparations begin on Monday.
The squad worked for more than two hours and in full pads during the lone afternoon practice at the grass practice fields.
The Aggies will wrap up summer drills on Friday morning at 9 a.m. with a situational scrimmage, but coach R.C. Slocum said there would be no tackling during the drill.
A&M will kickoff the 2002 season on Saturday, August 31 against Louisiana-Lafayette at 6 p.m. at Kyle Field.
