Special Order Sports, Fox Sports Net's pay-per-view division, will produce and distribute on a pay-per-view basis the Sept. 28 football game between Louisiana Tech and Texas A&M to participating cable television systems in Texas and Louisiana and nationwide to satellite TV services. The suggested retail price is $29.95. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m. central time from Kyle Field this Saturday.

"We're giving fans an option to watch a game that they otherwise wouldn't be able to see on television at an affordable price," Fox Sports Net Senior Vice President/General Manager Jon Heidtke said. "We want to make this game available to as many viewer as possible."

"In an effort to provide a service to our many Aggie fans unable to attend our game at Kyle Field, we have agreed with Fox Sports Net to air the football game this week on a pay-per-view basis," Texas A&M Athletics Director Wally Groff said. "I am especially pleased that our fans outside of the Texas-Louisiana area will have the opportunity via satellite to watch the contest."

A list of participating cable and satellite TV systems offering the pay-per-view telecast will be announced later this week.

The telecast will not pre-empt Fox Sports Net's regularly scheduled programming, but the telecast will be available on a specially designated pay-per-view channel.

The game will also be replayed throughout the Fox Sports Net's Southwest region (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and parts of New Mexico) on Monday, Sept. 30 at 2 a.m. central.

Bill Land and Gary Reasons will call the action.
