Texas A&M volleyball slipped three spots to No. 20 in the USA Today/AVCA Top 25 Poll, released Monday.
The Aggies went 1-1 last week, defeating Kansas, 3-0, in the Big 12 Conference opener, but then falling to then-unranked Colorado in five games in Boulder.
The top five remained unchanged with USC holding the top spot with 55 first-place votes. Hawaii, Florida, Stanford and Nebraska round out the top five.
The Big 12 is represented by three teams, including No. 5 Nebraska and No. 20 Texas A&M. With their win over the Aggies, the Colorado Buffaloes jumped into the poll at No. 23 to make their first appearance in the Top 25 this season, not including a No. 21 ranking in the preseason poll. Missouri, A&M's next opponent, received votes and is listed No. 26. Texas, ranked 24th last week, dropped out of the Top 25 following a four-game loss to the Tigers but is receiving votes and is listed 32nd.
The Aggies (9-2, 1-1 Big 12), who have been ranked in every regular-season AVCA Top 25 Poll since Sept. 26, 1995, when A&M broke in at No. 24, travel to Columbia, Mo., on Wednesday to battle the Missouri Tigers. First serve is at 7 p.m. at the Hearnes Center.
