| --Senior forward Brian Brookhart will share his thoughts on the season, and other things, with us each week in AggieAthletics.com's journal segment. Journal Entry #6 After playing in the Cable Car Classic and against Centenary we are now 8-3. We were very disappointed with the way we played out in Santa Clara because we all felt that we should have won the tournament. We didn't play our best basketball out there and it cost us, but I think we learned a lot about what this team is made of and what it is going to take to get us to reach our potential and our goals for this year. Playing against Princeton was very hard to prepare for because they play such a different style of basketball. They play real slow with a lot of movement. It is just different than anything we see in the Big 12. After playing them it doesn't surprise me that no one wants to play them in the NCAA tournament. Against Centenary we played a sluggish first half, but really got after them in the second half and took control of the game. The 8-3 start will give us a lot of confidence as we head into the game against Oklahoma State. Hopefully, with the students coming back in town we will have a good crowd at the game. Oklahoma State is 10-1 and a really quick team. It should be a really good game and one we feel we should win. |
