The Texas A&M Softball Team, ranked 20th in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25, is ranked No. 21 in the latest USA Today/NFCA Top 25 after going 4-2 and winning the St. Joseph's Aggie Invitational II this past week.

The Aggies are one of five Big 12 schools ranked in the poll. The highest ranked team from the Big 12 is the University of Nebraska (12-1) at No. 3 while Texas (16-0) is ranked fifth. The Oklahoma Sooners, with a 7-3 record sit at No. 9 followed by the 12-6 Aggies at No. 21 and Baylor (15-7) at No. 25. Kansas (10-3) and Oklahoma State (9-3) also received votes.

UCLA is ranked first in the poll followed by Arizona (17-2), Nebraska, Washington (12-0-1) and Texas rounding out the top five.

Texas A&M plays eleven of the schools listed in the poll including No. 2 Arizona, No. 3 Nebraska, No. 5 Texas, No. 7 Cal State Fullerton, No. 9 Oklahoma, No. 11 Stanford, No. 12 Georgia, No. 15 Florida State, No. 18 Massachusetts, No. 25 Baylor.

The Aggies game versus No. 21 Michigan, originally scheduled for Wednesday at 5 p.m. has been canceled due to standing water in the outfield.
