The spring exhibition schedule for the Texas A&M volleyball team was recently announced by Aggie coach Laurie Corbelli.

The Aggies, who began their full-team workouts Friday, will participate in four one-day tournaments during the spring season, opening at the University of Texas tournament on March 22 in Austin. The Longhorns and defending Big 10 Champion and NCAA Sweet Sixteen-participant Minnesota are in the tournament field, as well as other teams to be announced.

On March 29, A&M is slated to participate at the University of Arizona tournament in Tucson. Highlighting the tournament participants are defending national champion Southern California and 2002 NCAA tournament participants Michigan State, Arizona State and Louisville, as well as Big 12 Conference foe Baylor.

The Aggies compete at the TCU tournament April 12 in Fort Worth. Other teams competing in the event include Texas Tech, SMU, Southwest Texas State, Texas-Arlington and Lamar.

A&M then closes out the spring schedule with a home tournament on April 17. Other teams participating in the tournament to be held at G. Rollie White Coliseum are Houston, Texas-San Antonio and the Haggies, a group of former A&M volleyball standouts, including All-American Jenna Moscovic, Michelle Cole and Brandi Mount.

Times of all matches are to be announced.
