Texas A&M forward Antoine Wright has been named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team and junior guard Kevin Turner has been named to the Big 12 All-Reserve Team, the Big 12 Conference announced Monday. The Big 12 specialty teams are selected by sportswriters who regularly cover the conference.
Wright led the Big 12 freshmen class in scoring (14.6), rebounding (6.7) and three-point field goals made (62). Turner led the Big 12 reserves in three-point field goals (41) and ranked second in scoring (7.7).
