Now that the Sam Houston games are out of the way, we can refocus our attention on conference games. Those always seem to get us back on track as far as momentum and excitement is concerned. I don't know what it was about those extra inning games (against Nebraska) that wore us out, but it will be nice to catch up and get ready for Missouri this weekend.

Our team really did a good job of regrouping and getting after it in the second game against Sam Houston. Jess threw a good game and the team hit well. Like Coach Evans said, "Good teams find a way to win even when they are not at their best," and I feel we did that.

Ryan, who is Coach Wiggs' son, had his birthday yesterday, and we sent him through the "spanking tunnel". I think he was excited to go through until he realized he was getting spanked all the way down the line. Kind of funny, we sang to him and took a team picture, so I think he enjoyed it. I know our team did, anything that has to do with food makes our team happy!

I pray we get to Missouri safely and have decent weather to play in, but according to the news the weather in Missouri is not supposed to be so nice. Hopefully we get those games in. If it was up to me, I would make them come here, but then again I would make everyone come here. Good luck this weekend Ags!
