The Texas A&M volleyball team continues its spring exhibition schedule Saturday as the Aggies participate in a tournament hosted by TCU in Fort Worth.
The Aggies are slated to play four matches starting with a 9 a.m. match-up against SMU. A&M faces Lamar at 10:30 a.m. and then battles Big 12 foe Baylor at noon. The Aggies conclude the one-day tournament with a 2:30 p.m. meeting against TCU.
Matches will be three games, with the first two games to 30 points and the third game to 15. A&M's matches will be played in the University Recreation Center volleyball gym located on the TCU campus.
Other teams participating in the tournament are North Texas, Southwest Texas State, Texas-Arlington, Texas Tech and Tulsa.
The Aggies, who went 3-0 at the SMU tournament last weekend to improve their exhibition record to 6-1, conclude the spring season Thursday, April 17 as they host the Texas A&M tournament at G. Rollie White Coliseum. Other teams participating are Houston, Texas-San Antonio and the Haggies, a group of former A&M volleyball standouts: All-American Jenna Moscovic, A.D. Achilefu, Michelle Cole, Erin Lechler, Brandi Mount, Summer Strickland and Beth Weynand.
Texas A&M coach Laurie Corbelli returns five starters from the fall season in which A&M went 21-10 and made its 10th consecutive appearance in the NCAA tournament.
