| --Senior softball player Selena Collins will share her thoughts on the season, and other things, with us each week in AggieAthletics.com's player diary segment. April 14, 2003 We just got back from a good weekend. We played Kansas and finally had success with taking two games on the road. It's nice to have been able to capture those victories. As coach said, we really needed those wins to stay in the running with the rest of the teams. We come out and play Corpus Christi on Wednesday and then senior day is this weekend against Iowa State, so this week should be pretty full. Finals and tests and projects are all coming up but our team has done a good job of leaving all of that off the field and playing with heart and conviction. We are getting closer and closer to where we want to be, so I only hope we continue to work hard and take victories that are rightfully ours. It's funny, an alumnus came up to me and said, "I just keep waiting for the wheel to fall off," and I know he didn't mean it in the way I took it, but all I had to say to him was, "Oh, no sir, there are no wheels to be falling off, we're flying right now!" I know that sounds cheesy, but that was all I could think of. Go figure! I know that our team is hungry to win games and make it to where we have never been these past four years, so I never have fear of any kind of wheel falling off, for I know that our team is really just that good. Continue to work hard Ags, the big dance is on its way! Gig 'em and good luck Wednesday and this weekend.
