No. 19 Texas A&M (33-15, 9-5) and No. 3 Texas (35-7, 12-2) face off at the Aggie Softball Complex at 6:30 on Tuesday. The meeting will be the 18th in the history of the programs with Texas holding a 10-7 advantage. The two schools last played on April 9 at McCombs Field in Austin. Texas captured the victory with a seventh inning home run that broke a scoreless tie and lifted the Longhorns over the Aggies.

Probable starters for the game are Cat Osterman (20-4, 8-1) for Texas and either Jessica Slataper (12-10, 5-3) or Lindsay Wilhelmson (15-5, 4-2) for the Aggies. Osterman and Slataper threw against each other in the first meeting with both pitchers delivering solid performances. Slataper worked six innings and allowed one run on four hits while striking out six and walking only one batter. Osterman worked seven innings and did not allow a run off of two hits while striking out 19 and walking one.
