| --Senior softball player Selena Collins will share her thoughts on the season, and other things, with us each week in AggieAthletics.com's player diary segment. April 23, 2003 As always, it's hard to lose to Texas when we play the way we do. We had a mindset as a team and we did just that. Each and every member on our team stepped up to the plate with a purpose. We knew what we were going to see and we never let Cat get the best of us. We fought to the bitter end, and I am proud of that. The situation arose once again where we got bases loaded bottom of the seventh with me up to the plate. Now that is what I thrive on. I love situations like that and more than ever I loved it last night against Texas. I didn't get the outcome that I would of loved to have gotten, but I take the good with the bad. We play Baylor tomorrow and hopefully we come out with the same intensity and mindset. The only thing we can take from the Texas game is confidence. We are a team that will not lay down easily, we fight until we can fight no more, and that right there is going to take us to the next level. Our mindset against Baylor is to come out like we have been, swinging the bat and playing our tough defense. I strongly believe that we will go as far as our pitchers take us and I know they are ready for that challenge. Good Luck this weekend Ags and Beat the hell outta Baylor tomorrow.
