It was so nice to walk away last night with a win. It's hard to believe that that was the seniors last time ever playing on that field. It didn't really hit me until the last inning. Before the inning started the outfield came to the infield to have one last talk before ending the game. It's funny, because when we had two outs I gathered Crystal and Jennifer over to me in the circle, smiled and told them I loved them. I would have loved to have Cheryl and Lindsey out there too, but I think that would have been pushing the time out. But I really do. I love the senior class and I love our team. It's funny because the seniors can never look at me in moments of sadness for they know if they do I will make them cry. I am an emotional person, something many people really don't know about me, but I am passionate about softball and I am passionate about my team. Softball here at A&M has been my life.

Someone asked me if playing my last game here was worse than high school, and I kind of laughed, because to me it was 10 times worse. Not because I love the game any more or less but because softball here has been my life. The fans have embraced me from the first moment I set foot on the A&M field and that is something I will have with me for a lifetime. You never really know the role you are taking on for the young kids and families that come to watch and admire until you hear the fans cheer for you and wait for you until you come out of the locker room so they can have your autograph. It's an amazing feeling, one that I hold dear to my heart. I never really saw myself as someone people could love so much and compliment so much. I still really don't see it in me. I know what I possess and I know my role but I guess the Lord has blessed me with an humble spirit that has allowed me to love every moment of the fan support and love. I can never really express how lucky I have been able to play on the A&M field with the A&M fans. So thank you to the fans from all of us seniors.

We travel to Norman this weekend hoping for some victories. We are fighters and will play until the bitter end, never giving up because that has become the true makeup of our team. Good Luck Ags, beat the hell outta Oklahoma! Whoop!
