Texas A&M Head Football Coach Dennis Franchione announced today that Brandon Johnson, a junior defensive lineman from Bryan, is ineligible to compete due to academics, and Randall Webb, a junior linebacker from Mesquite, has been indefinitely suspended for violation of team policy.
"It is unfortunate when these things occur, but we will move forward with the players who are eligible to compete," Franchione said.
