Texas A&M Head Coach Dennis Franchione and the Aggie football team will welcome Aggie fans to Kyle Field at 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 16 for the annual Picture & Poster Day presented by Cingular Wireless.
"This will be a great opportunity for fans to meet our players and to get autographs and take pictures," Coach Fran said.
Fans may bring one item to be autographed and footballs must be personalized.
The gates on the west side of Kyle Field will be open at 5 p.m. Fans may gather in the west (Former Students) stands and will be permitted on the field by an announcement at approximately 6 p.m. The event will conclude at 7 p.m.
Texas A&M Athletics and its participating sponsors, The Eagle, Wells Fargo Bank, Aramark, and Cingular Wireless will be handing out autograph books, the 2003 Aggie football poster, and schedule magnets. Cokes will be available as well.
Several entities will be open around the Zone Plaza. Fans can purchase season football tickets or single game tickets (with the exception of the Texas game) at the new Aggie athletic ticket office in The Zone. The Aggie Locker will be open and will be selling the Official Guide to Texas A&M 2003 Football. The Texas A&M Sports Museum will be open and fans can watch Aggie football highlights through the years on the video board at the north end of the stadium.
The Aggies open the 2003 season on Saturday, August 30 against Arkansas State at 7 p.m. at Kyle Field. The game will be televised on a pay-per-view basis.
