Seven Aggies scored in double figures to lead the Texas A&M basketball team to a 121-70 victory against Giants Basket Marghera here on Tuesday in the second of five exhibition games on the Aggies's tour of Italy.

Senior guard Dylan Leal and senior center Andy Slocum led the way each with 19 points.

The Aggies trailed 14-13 midway through the first quarter, but took a 28-23 lead into the second period. A&M led 55-40 at halftime, then scored a whopping 42 points in the third quarter to only 14 for the Giants to break the game wide open. A&M outscored the Italians 66-30 in the second half.

Other Aggies in double figures were sophomore Luis Clemente with 17, senior Kevin Turner and sophomore Marcus Watkins with 16, sophomore Antoine Wright with 15, and senior Jesse King with 12. Clemente added 13 rebounds while King had 10. Senior Leandro Garcia-Morales did not score but handed out a team-high eight assists.

"We kind of struggled early on, but had a great second half--especially in the third quarter," Associate Head Coach Lew Hill said. "It was definitely a team effort. The guys played hard and were having fun, and that's what we wanted to see."

The Aggies play again on Thursday in Tolmezzo.
