Texas cable television systems and nationwide satellite TV services will offer Coach Fran's Texas A&M coaching debut Saturday, Aug. 30 against Arkansas State on pay-per-view. Suggested retail price is $29.95 for the 7:00 PM CT kickoff from Kyle Field in College Station. To order the telecast, contact your local cable operator or satellite TV provider.

Kevin Eschenfelder (play-by-play), former Texas A&M wide receiver Shea Walker (analyst), former Texas Tech head coach Spike Dykes (analyst), and Randy McIlvoy (sideline reporter) form the announcing team.

Included in the telecast will be:

  • An interview with new Texas A&M Athletic Director Bill Byrne.
  • A video tour of the university's new South endzone complex.
  • The Fightin' Texas Aggie band.

Big 12 Special Order Sports, Fox Sports Net's pay-per-view division, is producing and distributing the telecast to participating cable television systems in Texas and Arkansas and nationwide to satellite TV services. The game is being televised on pay-per-view because it was not selected for over-the-air broadcast or cable television coverage. Under conference TV rules, games not picked up for regular television distribution can only be televised live on pay-per-view.

The game will be replayed throughout Fox Sports Net's Southwest region (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and parts of New Mexico) on Sunday, Aug. 31 at 1:00 PM CT.
