Texas A&M climbed three spots to No. 22 in the USA Today/American Volleyball Coaches Association Division I Coaches Poll, released Monday by the AVCA.

The Aggies (10-3, 2-1 Big 12), who made the jump after going 2-0 last week by defeating both Colorado and Missouri, are at their highest ranking since a No. 20 showing on Sept. 23, 2002.

The top five remained unchanged with defending national champion USC at No. 1 followed by Hawaii, Florida, Stanford and Georgia Tech, respectively.

The Big 12 Conference is represented by three teams in the Top 25, including A&M. Nebraska remained at No. 7, while Kansas State fell three spots to No. 12 after losing to unranked Baylor. Missouri is receiving points and is listed 30th.

Texas A&M returns to Big 12 play Wednesday when the Aggies travel to Austin to take on rival Texas. First serve is at 7 p.m. at Gregory Gym. A&M returns home Saturday, Oct. 4 to play host to the No. 12 Wildcats. The match begins at 7 p.m. at G. Rollie White Coliseum.
