Last week was the start of our fall season and I must say it went pretty well. To open things up we faced Blinn in a double header on Wednesday and then followed it up by playing in the Spring Klein Tournament this weekend.
In the opener on Wednesday we came out and played really well, winning both games against Blinn.
Bright and early on Saturday morning we left for Spring. We played three games on Saturday, winning two of the three. Saturday night our team was invited to an annual dinner hosted by many A&M supporters in the Spring area. I enjoy going to this dinner every year. It gives us all a chance to visit with our parents as well as our teammates' parents. Not to mention the free food!
We had two more games on Sunday morning, and were able to pull off two more wins.
All in all last week was a great week for Aggie softball. There were so many good things that happened. So many people stepped up and played really well. It was exciting to be a part of!
Well, we have one more week to our fall season. We host Alvin in a double header on Thursday and we have our Fall Invitational on Saturday. It should be an awesome week!
