Well, we had a great day last Saturday. It was fun to see our team play well like we did. It was exciting for some of us older guys to be able to watch a bunch of the younger guys have the opportunity to play, and play well at that. Offensively we had two 100-yard rushers, which is always exciting for us offensive linemen. The rushing game is something that we take pride in, and it has been a focus for us this season. The defense really stepped it up and played together as a unit. Overall it was a great game for the Aggies, and I think it was great for the team because it allowed us to gain some much-needed confidence and momentum for the rest of the season.
Now we're headed to Lincoln, Nebraska this week to face a good football team that has played well this year. Last year they came from behind at Kyle Field to beat us by a touchdown, a memory that does not sit well with a lot of the older guys on the team. The coaches have made a great game plan, and they have pushed us hard through this week's practices. They have emphasized executing well and having mental toughness through the crowd noise and whatever other adversity we may face. Coach Fran has challenged us to play all four quarters with great effort and heart. For those of you that are going to the game, or just those that are watching it on TV, let us know that you're there, and let's BEAT THE HELL OUTTA NEBRASKA!!
