We've had some disappointing games this year. I think everyone will admit...fans, players, and coaches...that the season has not gone the way we would have hoped. For the seniors on the team, it has been very disappointing for us. I will assure you, however, that we will not give up because we are not quitters. No matter what happens, we will not stop fighting. In the future, they may be able to say that the 2003 Aggies didn't win every single game on their schedule, but they will never be able to say that they laid down and gave up...we will never give up! We came out and had a great week of practice, which obviously does not guarantee a victory, but it does give us the best opportunity to win. The team has been focusing on the little things that need to be fixed, and the coaches continue to tirelessly work into the late hours of the night trying to create the best game plan. Coach Fran has told us that he and the rest of the staff will not stop working hard, and they will not change what they've been doing.
An improved Kansas team comes into Kyle Field this week. They are 5-3, with losses coming to Northwestern (20-28) and a hard loss to Colorado in overtime. A win this week is very important to the team because it gives us another opportunity to restart the winning tradition at Kyle Field. Not only is this tradition important for us on the field, but for those of you in the stands as well. Come to the game, stay 'till the end, and let's show KU what the REAL 12th Man is all about. BEAT THE HELL OUTTA KANSAS!!!.
