No. 21 Texas A&M concludes a two-match home stand Saturday as the Aggies play host to the Oklahoma Sooners. Match time is 7 p.m. at G. Rollie White Coliseum, and all scouts and scout leaders in uniform will be admitted free.

The Aggies are 17-6 overall and in third place in the Big 12 Conference race with a 9-4 mark. The Aggies are coming off a 3-0 loss to No. 10 Nebraska on Wednesday, which snapped the Aggies' season-best seven-match winning streak.

Oklahoma has won two of its last three matches to improve to 11-14 overall and move into eighth place in the Big 12 with a 3-10 record in league matches. The Sooners are coming off a thrilling 19-30, 30-26, 30-28, 23-30, 15-13 victory over Texas Tech Wednesday in Norman. Christina Maynes and Joanna Schmitt had 22 kills apiece to lead the Sooner attack.

A&M owns a 24-1 record in the all-time series against the Sooners and has won the last 21 meetings. None of the Aggies on the current roster were born when OU picked up its only victory against A&M with a 15-13, 15-11 win at the 1979 North Texas State Tournament.

The last 14 match-ups have been decided in three games. A&M has dropped only one game against the Sooners in Big 12 matches and posts a 45-1 games record in 15 conference meetings against OU. In addition, A&M is 7-0 against the Sooners in matches played at G. Rollie.

A&M swept the Sooners, 30-27, 31-29, 30-20, at McCasland Field House in Norman on Oct. 17 in the most recent meeting. Beth Skypala led the Aggies with 10 kills and 10 digs. As a team, A&M outhit the Sooners, .292 to .214, and outblocked them, 11-3.
