Texas A&M Director of Athletics Bill Byrne announced today that Tate Pittman, a freshman football player from Odessa, Texas, has been suspended indefinitely due to a violation of department and University code of conduct, rules and regulations.

Pittman, a defensive line prospect, is a true freshman who played at Permian High School in Odessa last fall. He has not played in a game this fall and was being redshirted.
