The Texas A&M volleyball team (21-9) received its 11th consecutive at-large berth to the NCAA Championship and has been selected to host first and second-round matches, the NCAA selection committee announced Sunday.

"We were definitely excited when we saw College Station,Texas, up on the board," A&M coach Laurie Corbelli said following the selection show. "We've been hoping and hoping knowing that we were a bubble team (to host). We've still managed to keep afloat and stay third so the excitement is there, and being at G. Rollie means so much to becoming victorious. We are hoping to get a great crowd out their as we go for the Sweet Sixteen and the Elite Eight."

The Aggies, who are the No. 16 seed in the 64-team field, face Nicholls State (18-14) in the first round on Friday at 7 p.m. (CST) at G. Rollie White Coliseum. The Colonels received an automatic bid and are making their first NCAA tournament appearance after winning the Southland Conference tournament.
