Off-season is officially over! Whoop!!
It's hard to believe that the semester is over...for some people at least. The only thing left to do is final exams. Some people lucked out and don't have to take any but I am definitely not one of them. But the end is near, at least that is what I keep telling myself.
On Thursday we wrapped up our last week of off-season. It was our second phase of testing week. We were tested on our vertical jump, 20/40 yard dashes, and 5-10-5's (which is an agility drill). It was again a very successful week! All in all everyone ran very well! This was definitely one of our best off-seasons yet.
On Wednesday we had our annual Christmas party and, yes, the Maroon team cooked. We decided to go all out this year and barbeque. WE HAD SO MUCH FOOD! It became quite clear that none of us will be heading off to culinary school, but we had a lot of fun.
We only have a little over a month until softball season starts. I can't wait! It will be an exciting year!
