On Sunday, as I am sure most of you already know, we found out we are hosting the first and second rounds of the NCAA playoffs. I can't describe how fortunate we feel because it is such a huge advantage for any team to host. Especially for us, with the 12th Man in G. Rollie. Not many teams get to host (only 16) so that was a huge accomplishment for us. The NCAA committe knows how great the atmosphere in G. Rollie is so I think that helped a lot as well.
Practice this week has been really good. It seems like a brand new season and in a way it is. The past couple of months of conference play really don't matter and our record up to now doesn't matter either. Now we just have to look ahead one game at a time. We are starting fresh and it feels good.
We got Wednesday off so we could rest and catch up on studying. I was happy to get the day off because I had three finals this week I had to study for. It is a really challenging part of the year right now because you have to balance time between studying and playing volleyball more than ever.
Well, I have to go take another final. I hope to see you at the game tonight at 7!!!!
