A pair of former Texas A&M players are heading to Houston's Reliant Stadium on Feb. 1 to play in Super Bowl XXXVIII.

Bethel Johnson and Ty Warren are both rookie members of the New England Patriots' AFC Championship team that will face the Carolina Panthers.

Johnson (Corsicana, Texas) played in 15 games and started five at wide receiver for the Patriots, catching 16 passes for 209 yards and two touchdowns. A second-round draft choice, Johnson excelled as a kickoff return specialist where he averaged 28.2 yards on 30 returns, including a 92 yard return for a touchdown in a 38-34 win at Indianapolis.

Warren (Bryan, Texas) saw action in 16 games on the defensive line, totaling 19 tackles and two pass deflections. Warren, a first-round selection, registered his first career NFL sack came in a 19-13 win at Miami.
