The Texas A&M softball team was picked to finish third by the Big 12 coaches in the preseason poll conducted by the conference office and released Wednesday.
Oklahoma and Nebraska are picked to finish first and second, respectively, followed by A&M, Texas, Missouri, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Kansas, Iowa State and Texas Tech. Coaches are not allowed to vote for their own school.
