WATKINS QUOTEBOARD
"Texas is obviously one of the better teams in the Big 12, but we've got them at home and we hope to have a great crowd. Coming off a Final Four year, they have the confidence it takes to win ball games. We know they won't beat themselves. We've got to do a lot of things right for 40 minutes. We've got to continue rebounding the ball well and we've got to slow down their transition game. They are an oustanding rebounding team and they also have some capable three-point shooters who we can't lose sight of. It's like a broken record for us -- we've been in every game and have to find a way to get over the hump. Our spirits are good and we just have to go out and get a win. Jesse (King) is still not 100 percent (bruised toe) but he's playing well. Andy Slocum has given us quality minutes, but he got into foul trouble at Iowa State and that kind of took him out of the game."
