WATKINS QUOTEBOARD
"We didn't play as hard against Baylor as we have in some of our other games
and I was disappointed with that. We had 23 turnovers and I think about 20
of them were unforced. We've slipped some in our last couple of games, but I
still think this team can win and I think we'll have some opportunities to
do that. There is still a lot of basketball to be played. We just have to
get back to work and keep after it. I don't think our players are ready to
quit on the season by any means. We need to make some adjustments and get
our heads back into what we're trying to do. I know this team is capable of
turning the corner but saying it is one thing and doing it is another.
Nebraska had a big win against Missouri on Saturday and will come in with a
lot of confidence. They are playing good basketball. They really shoot the
ball well from the perimeter and they are a very good defensive team. "
