The Texas A&M basketball teams both face tough tests at Reed Arena on Saturday.
Still looking for their first Big 12 win of the season, the Aggie men (7-13, 0-9 in Big 12) will battle the Oklahoma Sooners (15-5, 5-4 in Big 12) on Saturday at 12:45 p.m. (CST). A&M has had second-half leads in six of its nine conference games and is coming off a disappointing 83-77 loss to Nebraska at home on Wednesday.
Then, the Aggie women (8-14, 1-10) rematch with the No. 7-ranked Texas Tech Lady Raiders (20-4, 6-4) at 7 p.m. A&M has come close to pulling a major upset in the polls six times already this season, including taking Tech down to the wire a few weeks ago in Lubbock.
Those in attendance at both games will be treated to a special halftime performance by the Dallas Mavericks MAVS MAN.
Plus, a special Valentine's Day dinner promotion, courtesy of Christopher's World Grille, will take place at each athletic event during the day.
In addition, all Active Roster Members, All-Big 12 Members, and All-American Members of the 12th Man Team will have the chance to win a road trip with the women's basketball team when they play the Kansas Jayhawks.
