No. 21 Texas A&M will make its annual trip to Huntsville, Texas this Tuesday, Febraury, 17, to play Sam Houston State. First pitch is set for 2 p.m. at Holleman Field.

The Aggies are fresh off a three-game sweep of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Zach Jackson tossed a seven-inning no-hitter in the series opener to lead the Aggies to a 15-0 win. Texas A&M won both ends of a Sunday double header, 4-3 (10 inn.) and 10-5, to complete the series sweep.

Texas A&M and Sam Houston have played 106 times with the Aggies winning 70 of the contests. There has been one tie in the series.

Sophomore left-hander Dan Donaldson will get the starting nod on the mound for A&M. Donaldson appeared in 14 games as a freshman and finished the season 1-3 with a 3.41 ERA in 37.0 innings of work.

Sam Houston had all three games of its series at Louisiana-Lafayette rained out this past weekend.

The Bearkats enter the game with a record of 1-1-1 after playing in the Texas * Pan American Tournament two weekends ago. SHSU opened with a 7-2 win over Pan Am before suffering a 7-4 loss to Lamar. The *Kats ended the tournament with an eight-inning 8-8 tie with Kansas.

This will be the final game for the Aggies at Holleman Field as Sam Houston is in the process of building a new ballpark, which will be opened next season.

Admission to Holleman Field is free.
