The No. 15 Texas A&M softball team (5-5, 0-0) will host three schools in the St. Joseph's Aggie Invitational I beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday at the Aggie Softball Field. A&M welcomes in Boston University (3,2 0-0), the University of Illinois (4-2-1, 0-0), and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (6-6, 0-0) in the first of two home tournaments this season.
Parking for the 10 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. games on Friday and Saturday is available for free in the Olsen Field Parking lot (PA 63), located across the street from the Aggie Softball Field. Due to baseball games on Friday and Saturday, fans can park for a fee of $2 at Reed Arena (PA 102) for the 2:30 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. games. Free parking for these games, and the Sunday games, is available in lot PA 100, located directly across the street from the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center, and Lots 101 and 102, on the north side of Reed Arena.
Fans can receive a 12th Man Team Rewards stamp at each of the five Aggie softball games this weekend. Posters will be handed out before Friday's 2:30 game with Boston. On Saturday, after the 4:45 contest with Boston, kids will be allowed to run the bases. After Sunday's game with TAMU-Corpus Christi there will be an autograph session, with posters provided, on the plaza in between the soccer field and the softball building.
Live stats for all 10 tournament games will be available on AggieAthletics.com. Live audio will be available on AggieAthletics.com for A&M's games on Friday and Saturday.
