Freshman righ-hander Christina Smith pitched the No. 15 Aggie softball team (6-5, 0-0) past the Boston Terriers 4-0 in A&M's first game of the Aggie Invitational at the Aggie Softball Field.
Smith, who turned 19 Friday, pitched a complete game five hit shut out. In her second complete game of the season Smith struck out a seven batters while walking only two batters.
A&M and Illinois will begin at approximately 5:35 p.m.
