The No. 23 Texas A&M softball team (8-7, 0-0) will host three schools in the St. Joseph Aggie Invitational II beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday at the Aggie Softball Field. A&M welcomes in No. 17 Oregon (8-4, 0-0), Penn State (0-5, 0-0), and Southern Mississippi (5-7, 0-0). The Aggies will play two games on Friday, two on Saturday and one on Sunday.
Parking for this weekend's tournament is restricted due to the baseball tournament at Olsen Field and the basketball game at 12:30 on Saturday. Fans will not be allowed to park at Olsen (PA 63) and will have to pay a fee of $2 at Reed Arena (PA 102). Free parking for all games, except during the basketball game, will be available directly across from the George P. Mitchell Tennis Complex (PA 100).
Fans can receive a 12th Man Team Rewards stamp at each of the five Aggie softball games this weekend. Softball schedule magnets will be handed out before Friday's 2:30 game with Southern Mississippi. Saturday is Recreation and Parks Day with the Whataburger Jazz Band. On Sunday all scouts in uniform and their leaders will receive free admission. The Aramark smoker will be out on Sunday cooking sausage and turkey legs. Fans can run the bases after the last game on Saturday and Sunday.
