Last week was a long and tough week, after all we did play 7 games in 5 days. Sadly though, in most of the games we did not play very well. We dropped games against University of Houston and Illinois, putting our record at 8-7.
Although we struggled a little bit, many positive things came out of the weekend. We ended up getting 3 wins; 2 against Boston and 1 against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Our pitching was pretty good and we had some people step up and get some clutch hits, which is always good to see! Once we get a few more games under our belts and find our comfort zone, we will be good to go.
Our first game this week is not until Friday, so we have a few days to recuperate and work out a few kinks. I love playing games but sometimes the best thing to do is to have a few days of practice. It should give us just enough time to fix our weaknesses and prepare for this weekend. This weekend is the 2nd Aggie Invitational and it should be great! We play 2 games on Friday, 2 games on Saturday, and 1 game on Sunday. We will play some great teams and hopefully we will put some w's in the win column!!
Our crowds last week were AWESOME! Thanks so much! It helps so much to have a crowd there making it a tough place for our opponent to play in. Come out again this weekend and help us BEAT THE HELL OUTTA EVERYBODY!!!
