The No. 23 Texas A&M softball team (11-8, 0-0) hosts Texas State University (15-5, 3-0) in a single game at the Aggie Softball Field on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
A&M holds a 50-8 all-time record over Texas State.
The Aggies are coming off a 3-1 performance in the St. Joseph Aggie Invitational over the weekend. A&M defeated Penn State, twice, and Southern Mississippi with their lone loss coming to No. 17 Oregon.
Jo Evans (Utah '83) is in her eighth season as the Aggie head coach and has a 576-376-2 overall record. Her record since coming to A&M in 1997 is 263-163-2.
Texas State is coming off a three-game sweep of Southland Conference rival Nicholls State in San Marcos.
Ricci Woodard (New Mexico State '91) is in her fourth season as the head coach at Texas State and has a record of 152-57-1.
Fans can park for free for Tuesday's game in the Olsen Field parking lot (PA 63) located directly across the street from the Aggie Softball Field. Overflow parking is available at Reed Arena (PA 102, PA 100).
