The Texas A&M baseball team moved up in each of the four major polls after winning the 2004 Domino's Pizza Aggie Baseball Classic with a record of 5-1.

The Aggies (12-1) are off to their hottest start since the 1993 squad won 15 of its first 16 games.

Head coach Mark Johnson's troops climbed two spots to No. 12 in the Collegiate Baseball Top 30, six spots to No. 14 in the Baseball America survey, six spots to No. 14 in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers poll, and seven spaces to No. 16 in the Sports Weekly/ESPN Top 25 College Coaches' Poll.

Texas A&M returns to action this weekend as they travel to Los Angeles to play a three-game series with UCLA.
