The Texas A&M softball team has changed its opponent for a doubleheader on Tuesday, March 9. The Aggies will take on McNeese State University at the Cowgirl Diamond in Lake Charles La., beginning at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
Texas A&M and the University of Texas at Arlington were originally scheduled to play in Arlington on Wednesday, March 3, but had to postpone the games, due to rain, until March 9. The games have since been canceled due to logistical reasons.
Tuesday's games will be the 21st and 22nd meetings between A&M and McNeese St. The Aggies hold a 17-3 all-time record against the Cowgirls. The schools last met on February 15, 2003 at the Aggie Invitational in College Station with A&M defeating McNeese 1-0.
