No. 11-seed Texas A&M (7-20, 0-16) will play No. 6 seed Missouri (15-12, 9-7) in the first round of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Tournament on Thursday at 8:20 p.m. at American Airlines Center. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN2.
The winner of that game will play No. 3-seed Kansas (20-7, 12-4) on Friday at 8:20 p.m. The semifinals are on Saturday (1 p.m. and 3:20 p.m.) with the championship game on Sunday at 2 p.m. The tournament champion receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Other seeds for the conference tournament are No. 1 Oklahoma State (24-3, 14-2), No. 2 Texas (21-6, 12-4), No. 4 Colorado (18-9, 10-6), No. 5 Texas Tech (21-9, 9-7), No. 7 Oklahoma (18-9, 8-8), No. 8 Iowa State (16-11, 7-9), No. 9 Kansas State (14-13, 6-10) and No. 10 Nebraska (16-11, 6-10).
There were three ties among the seeds. Texas defeated Kansas head-to-head to break the 12-4 tie. Texas Tech beat Missouri at the 9-7 tie, and Kansas State swept Nebraska during the regular season to decide the 6-10 tie.
