The Texas A&M men's golf team carded a final round of 297 on Tuesday and finished tied for 13th at the Morris Williams Intercollegiate at Austin Country Club.
BYU won the team title with rounds of 281-285-292=858, finishing two strokes ahead of runner-up TCU (860). Oklahoma State was third at 861, followed by Tulsa (865), California (867), Texas (869), Arkansas (870), Oklahoma (877), Pepperdine (880), Baylor (882), Virginia (883), SMU (886), Houston (893), A&M (296-300-297=893) and Fresno State (902).
Arkansas' Andrew Dahl captured individual honors with a 10-under-par total of 64-68-74=206 to finish four shots ahead of the rest of the field.
A&M was led by sophomore Andrew Parr, who tied for 30th at 76-75-69=220. Also for A&M, senior Stephen Reed tied for 33rd at 73-73-75=221, junior David Schultz tied for 49th at 73-78-74=225, senior David Tasker tied for 56th at 74-74-79=227 and senior Parker Briley finished 81st at 87-89-79=255.
