The 10th-ranked Texas A&M (21-5; 1-2) baseball team will look to get back on track this weekend during a three-game series with Texas Tech (16-7; 0-0). A&M is 15-3 this season in the friendly confines of Olsen Field. The Aggies have lost three of their last five games, including two out of three to Baylor last weekend. The Red Raiders have won their last three games, including the last two of a three game series against Clemson and a Tuesday night win over Houston.

SERIES NOTES:
- A&M head coach Mark Johnson has an all-time record of 43-28 against Texas Tech. The last time the two teams played in College Station was in 2001, and the Aggies swept the Red Raiders in a three-game series.
- Mark Johnson and Texas Tech head coach Larry Hays have enjoyed the longest tenures of any other coaches in the Big 12. Johnson is the dean of Big 12 coaches as he is in his 20th season, while hays is coaching his 18th at Texas Tech. Combined the two coaches have 38 years of coaching experience at their respective schools. The other eight coaches in the league have been at their schools a combined 48 seasons.
- Location has traditionally played a huge factor in the outcome of the Texas A&M/Texas Tech series. The home team has won 15 of the 20 regular-season Big 12 games played between the two schools. Texas A&M won two-of three games at Dan-Law Field in 1997, but has won just one since. Texas Tech won a game at Olsen Field in 1998 and 2000, but were swept by the Aggies in 2002.
