No. 9 Texas A&M will play Texas State and Texas-San Antonio in a pair of midweek games this Tuesday and Wednesday.

Tuesday, the Aggies and Bobcats will square off at the Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas, while Wednesday UTSA visits Olsen Field. Both games are set to start at 7 p.m.

The Aggies won two of their four games from last week, including two-out of three from Big 12 foe Texas Tech to move to 23-6 overall and to 3-3 in league play.

Texas State, winners of its last four contests, enters the week with a record of 15-12 overall and 4-2 in Southland Conference action.

The Roadrunners have won their last five games and own a record of 15-10 overall and are also 4-2 in the Southland Conference.

The Aggies will send sophomore right-hander Robert Ray to the mound Tuesday night. Ray has a record of 1-1 in six appearances his season. He also has an ERA of 6.38 and has fanned 27 opposing hitters in 24 innings of work.

Texas State will counter with left-hander Paul Schappert, who is 2-4 with a 7.09 ERA.

Wednesday's starting pitchers are still to be determined.

Texas A&M owns an all-time series advantage of 29-8 over Texas State and have beaten UTSA 10 of the 17 times they have faced each other.

Fans who are unable to attend the games can listen to the action on WTAW AM-1620. Airtime will be 6:30 p.m. for both games.
