The Texas A&M softball team (28-16, 10-1) will look to extend their eight-game win streak on Wednesday when they take on Oklahoma State (25-22, 5-6) in Stillwater in a doubleheader at Cowgirl Softball Stadium beginning at 5 p.m.

The Aggies hold a 26-19 advantage over the Cowgirls in all-time series play and have won the last three contests. The Aggies split with the Cowgirls in 2002, the last time the teams met in Stillwater.

Texas A&M enters the doubleheader after sweeping Texas Tech in Lubbock. The Aggies are led by senior right-hander Jessica Kapchinski who is 9-1 in conference action and has a 0.24 ERA. Freshman Sharonda McDonald is on a seven-game hit streak and leads all Aggie hitters, in league play, with a .341 average and eight runs scored.

The Cowgirls come in to the doubleheader after splitting their weekend series with Kansas. OSU is led, offensively, by sophomore Lacy Darity who is hitting at a .269 clip in conference play. Freshman Jessica Hoppock has seen the most work in the circle, 62.2 innings in conference play, and has a 2.12 ERA and a 4-5 league record.

Live audio and stats for both games will be available on AggieAthletics.com.
