Texas A&M wide receiver Jamaar Taylor was selected in the sixth round of the NFL Draft on Sunday by the New York Giants.
Taylor was the third selection of the sixth round and 168th overall.
The Aggie football program has seen a player picked in every draft since 1974.
A&M players who have signed free agent contracts are defensive lineman Linnis Smith (Jacksonville Jaguars), defensive back Sean Weston (Kansas City Chiefs), offensive lineman Alan Reuber (Minnesota Vikings), punter Cody Scates (New England Patriots), snapper Don Muhlbach (Baltimore Ravens) and wide receiver Tim Van Zant (Detroit Lions).
